|FLOYD MAYWEATHER STILL DOESN'T KNOW WHO ANDERSON SILVA IS: "I HEARD HIS NAME A COUPLE TIMES" - YouTube|
Also Admonishes them about “pants on the ground,” drug use and abuse, teenage pregnancy and truancy in their scholastics
Princeton , World Championship Silver Medalist Warren Weir, French/Former Chelsea Football Star Florent Malouda, , Professors, amongst those giving Kartel book and music accolades in interviews, social media and articles
In January, Vybz Kartel business partner Michael Dawson, revealed that Kartel told him in a December visit at Horizon Remand Center, “I will be the man that will have the most positive effect on Jamaica since Marcus Garvey.” Many laughed and accused Dawson of misrepresenting or misunderstanding him. However, with the recent accolades from the Ivy League Princeton University about his book, his song with Gaza Slim about preventing Child Abuse and now “School Part 2” – it seems like Vybz Kartel is achieving his mission whilst still behind bars! Many are now wondering what will happen in November when most Jamaicans believe he will be exonerated as there is now a popular notion that his incarceration was an attempt of silencing the ghetto’s most influential persona.
Ironically, the same who were telling their children to not listen to Kartel just two years ago are not only buying their children his book, paying to download his recent CD and now asking “you hear what Vybz Kartel say – do you work, pull up pants and no drugs and sex while you in school.” The question now is will the Ministries of Youth and let go off their biases and allow a voice that the children can understand pass on these important messages?” Dawson is still doubtful as he explained “Addi and I share the belief that the politicians and powers that be do not want the poor to elevate themselves as that will destroy the slavish society which overworks and underpays our people. I have heard uptown people say ‘if we have 100% literacy in Jamaica – who going cut the lawn and wash the clothes?’ so from Adidja Palmer sang Dolla Sign he became a threat to society; so no, they will fight Vybz Kartel and keeping trying to silence him.”
Now that Kartel has finally made a public statement in song telling the youths to not bleach their skin – will the media, society and the system give him his due. Or do they fear him so much that he will still be locked up and denied bail despite being one of the most recognizable figures in Jamaica whose simple visit to the went viral throughout the world on social media? Interesting days are ahead with rumors of an e-book release and a new cover for his massively successful book swirling around.

Just Blaze finds himself comparing Jay Z and Eminem when asked who the most talented artist he's worked with is.
As a producer who has gone on to showcase his skills as a beatsmith for well over a decade, New Jersey-born artist Just Blaze has had the opportunity to work alongside some of Hip Hops most respected names including Jay Z and Detroit lyricist Eminem.
Interestingly enough, the producer found himself comparing the two emcees, specifically their work ethic in the studio, during an interview with Vlad TV. Just Blaze was asked if Jay Z is the most talented artist hes worked with and in his attempt to answer that specific question, he began to compare both Jay Z and an artist he feels is equally as talented, Eminem.
I dont know if I would say that Jays the most talented, said the producer. Hes obviously one of thehe may be the most talented. If its not JaySee, its different. I have great experience working with Jay, great experience working with Eminem. But theyre two totally different approaches. Jays approach to work is very much like Jays personality. Hes very laid-back. Kinda just lets me do me. And doesnt really get in the middle too muchWhereas Eminem is very much hands on with the process. So theyre both very creative and super-talented, but just in very different ways.
Just Blaze continued his comparison of the rap Titans while speaking on Eminems scientific approach to his music and the rappers ability to alter the most minuscule of sounds thanks to a keen ear.
Em is there when youre making the beat sometimes, he revealed. Hes there when youre mixing. Hes there mixing and tweaking his own vocals. He hears, he has like dog hearing. So, hell be like Turn this up a half a dB. Turn the bass up like a quarter dB at this frequency. Hes very much of a scientist with it. Where Jay is more so like That sounds good. Cool, Im out.
Just Blaze has worked extensively with both Jay Z and Eminem. Most notably, he produced several tracks on Eminems 2010 album Recovery and played a hand in the creation of Jay Zs Song Cry and the rappers lively, Kingdom Come single Show Me What You Got.
As Pusha T gets ready to drop his latest album "My Name Is My Name" on Oct 8th, He calls up Chris Brown for a track titled "Sweet Serenade" produced by Swizz Beats. Check out the track below and tell us what you think?
And I was completely right. All the wolfing and barking about East/West beef and rappers being upset and NY being upset and mad was all hog wash. Like I said, Kendrick did not mean anything literal by his King of NY line or his verse. It was simply telling his gener

One would think that after their bitter split earlier this year, Rihanna would move on from Chris Brown for good.
That is not the case, although Drake is slowly his way back into her life.
Rihanna and Drake hooked up last weekend at the MTV VMAs after party and also went on a dinner date on Monday.
But now close to the “Diamonds” hitmaker are telling Star that she still holds a special place in her heart for .
“As much as she has tried to move on with her life since Chris, Rihanna really does feel there’s something missing without him,” a said.“There are things she told him that she still doesn’t feel comfortable telling anyone else. She’s secretly hoping Chris will take she is putting out and get in touch.”“Rihanna and Chris move in different circles now, but she still felt sick with worry when she heard to him. It reminded her that she is always going to care deeply about him, despite their traumatic past.”
Chris Brown and Drake got into a huge brawl at a nightclub in City last summer. The brawl reportedly started over an argument about Rihanna.
Both Brown and Drake are facing lawsuits from the incident.

Although the release date for Dom Kennedys upcoming project has been up in the air for quite some time, theres no questioning the anticipation surrounding constant new material. Even though fans were expecting an earlier date during the summer, Get Home Safely has now officially been given the date of October 1st, which should certainly put many minds at ease. As one of the bigger underground artists of the industry, Dom has a lot on his hands and the need for a consistent project has been a must over the past few years. The word "twerk" has been added to Britain's Oxford Dictionary as a verb following recent headlines regarding Juicy J and Miley Cyrus.
Twerk has been added to Britain's Oxford Dictionary as a verb. Oxford Dictionary's Katherine Connor Martin recently addressed the origin of the word, which has been used in music for years.
"There are many theories about the origin of this word, and since it arose in oral use, we may never know the answer for sure," Martin said to the Associated Press. "We think the most likely theory is that it is an alteration of work, because that word has a history of being used in similar ways, with dancers being encouraged to 'work it.' The 't' could be a result of blending with another word such as twist or twitch."
Twerk will be added to the dictionary along with selfie, digital detox and Bitocoin.
The definition, according to AP, is to "dance to popular music in a sexually provocative manner involving thrusting hip movements and a low, squatting stance."
Twerking has been in the news of late for several reasons. This month, Juicy J offered a $50,000 scholarship for the best student who can twerk and Miley Cyrus made headlines after twerking at the MTV Video Music Awards. Juicy J also crowned Cyrus "the best twerker hands down" following the performance, which can be seen below.
After tormenting the Twitterverse with her twerking routine at the VMAs, Miley Cyrus went right into the studio with Kanye West to record a remix of his song Black Skinhead, Page Six has exclusively learned. Cyrus skipped her own VMA after-party at No. 8 and went into the studio for what her reps described as a late-night, top- secret collaboration, which sources said was with none other than West. The Yeezus rapper was one of the few artists not spotted out at Jay Z and Diddys bash in New York, which went into the early hours of Monday. West was also said to have headed straight to the studio after the MTV event at Brooklyns Barclays Center. We hear Cyrus will appear with West on a remix of Black Skinhead, due to be part of a remix EP that will be released later this year. West was due to perform Skinhead at the VMAs, but reportedly changed his mind at the last minute to perform the haunting track Blood on the Leaves, at which time viewers only saw his enlarged shadow rapping against a backdrop of a forest.
A 59-year-old Texas man allegedly booby-trapped his trailer's front door with a shotgun just before his niece served him an eviction notice.
Authorities say Marisa Johnson narrowly escaped with her life after she opened the screen door to her family-owned trailer in Odessa Monday and unknowingly triggered the terrifying blast through the front door.
Johnson, 22, incredibly suffered only minor injuries to her hands due to broken glass.
The Odessa Police Department Bomb Squad was brought in to determine if further traps had been placed inside the trailer before it was safely entered and found unoccupied.
Wade Dwayne Woods, the alleged man behind the deadly stunt, was arrested at a nearby motel early Tuesday morning.
He is charged with three felony counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Abbie Griffis, 19, and her 2-year-old son, who witnessed the attack from their vehicle, contributing to two of those charges.
A search warrant revealed that the trap was composed of a 12-guage wood stock shotgun, a C-clamp, a black three-position adjustable clamp, fishing string line and plastic ties.
Though such a terrifying attack is rare, Ector County Sgt. Gary Duesler says the fear is always there while serving out an eviction notice.
"It's always in the back of your mind," Duesler told the Daily News. "You never know what's on the other side of that door. It's personal."
Duesler blamed a recent boom for the loss of housing in the area for many longtime residents. His department currently serves out an average of two evictions a day he said.
"There's no places for them to go. They can't build houses fast enough," he said while stressing local hotel rooms costing anywhere from $150 to $400 a night.
Woods' bond was last set at $75,000.
'Young man who had a broken heart' found dead in Oregon woods - U.S. News
PORTLAND, Ore. -- The father of an Arizona teenager whose body was found Monday evening near his abandoned SUV in the woods of southern Oregon said his son was "a young man who had a broken heart."
The body of Johnathan Croom, 18, was discovered about 1,000 feet from where his vehicle was found abandoned last week, Douglas County sheriff's spokesman Dwes Hutson said in a statement.
Hutson said the Apache Junction, Ariz., youth's death was being investigated as a suicide but he provided no additional information. He didn't return a call for comment.
In a telephone interview from Oregon, David Croom said his son was grieving the end of a recent relationship with "someone back in Phoenix."
"He was a young man who had a broken heart and headed out to try to find himself," the elder Croom said. "We're looking forward to finding out exactly what happened."
He thanked everyone who helped search for his son and added, "Please pray for our family."
The father said he had no specifics on a cause of death.
The teen had talked with his parents about the book "Into the Wild" and told a friend he wanted to run away.
Croom's SUV was found Wednesday in Riddle, a town of 1,200 people just off the state's main north-south thoroughfare, Interstate 5.
His mother, Monica Croom, had said he was traveling alone and on his way back from Seattle, where he visited a friend. The teen was due in Arizona on Aug. 17 to start college in Mesa.
Hutson said earlier that text messages between Croom and a friend indicated Croom wanted to run away.
Hutson said Croom also talked to his parents about Christopher McCandless, whose journey to Alaska was documented in the book "Into the Wild." McCandless gave up his worldly goods to live in the Alaska wilderness, only to die there, perhaps from eating wild potatoes.
"I think we have kind of a combination there," Hutson said earlier Monday. "He talked with his parents about 'Into the Wild,' and in text messages we've looked at, he does specifically talk about running away, kind of just running away from his life."
The family of an American man stranded in a South Korean hospital is asking for donations to bring him home.
Sean Jones, a young teacher from Oklahoma City, has been hospitalized since May with anti-NMDA receptor encephalitis, a rare autoimmune disease that causes swelling in the brain.
Jones' family wants him transferred to an American hospital for continued treatment, but Yonsei University Severance Hospital in Seoul reportedly refuses to release him until his bill of nearly $40,000 is paid.
Friends and family have set up a Facebook page and a Giveforward.com account to raise money for medical costs. So far they have raised about three-quarters of the goal, Sean's mother, LaTanya Dodd, told The Korea Herald.
I really dont know if they can legally hold him here. If they cant legally do so, he will be going, said Dodd, who came to South Korea in July to care for her son, to the paper. They wont care for him anymore, and thats what Im worried about. Is that going to affect the whole outcome just sitting here waiting?
Jones was moved to a group room and suffers from bedsores due to a lack of care, family members said.
The recent college grad, described as outgoing and passionate about education, had been teaching English in Hwajung for nearly a year when he began experiencing headaches and hallucinations.
Doctors first prescribed antidepressants and told him to rest, but his condition worsened. He was admitted to the hospital two days later with a fever of 108 degrees.
Anti-NMDA receptor encephalitis was identified in 2007, and only a few hundred cases have been documented worldwide. It can cause personality changes and psychotic symptoms.
I was told before I got here the reason was that they were scared because he was violent," Dodd said. "He was having violent outbursts (because of the disease). He was very difficult for me, too, when I got here, but they expect me to do it alone.
The disease is often fatal, but Sean appears to be recovering without brain damage, though he has suffered a dramatic weight loss.
According to The Korea Herald, the U.S. embassy arranged for a doctor to fly with Jones to a hospital in Indianapolis on Sept. 4, but the Korean hospital refuses to transfer him.
Embassy officials and Jones' family were not immediately available for comment to The News, but older brother Brandon Jones spoke with Oklahoma City's News9 over the weekend.
"The goal is really just to help with his medical bills, and hopefully with no speed bumps, we can actually get him back in the United States," Brandon Jones told the station.
|The boy with the body of a 110 year old Ali Hussain, 14, suffers from rare genetic disorder - YouTube|
A teenager with an extremely rare genetic disease that causes him to age ten times faster than other children is hoping for a miracle cure, despite seeing five of his siblings die from the same affliction.
Ali Hussain Khan from Bihar, India, is only 14 years old, but the condition, called progeria, has given him the body of a 110-year-old, according to the Daily Mail.
"I very much want to live and I hope there is medicine for my condition out there. Im not scared of death but my parents have suffered a lot," Khan told the website. "Id love to live much longer for them. I dont want to burden them with any more pain."
His parents, who are first cousins, have eight children. Four born with progeria died between ages 12 and 24. Another child, who died shortly after birth, is also thought to have had the disease. Two of their daughters do not have progeria.
There are only about 80 cases of progeria known in the world. According to the Progeria Research Foundation, a nonprofit that seeks to cure the condition and its aging-related disorders, the children with progeria "are born looking healthy... [but] begin to display many characteristics of accelerated aging at around 18-24 months of age."
Interestingly, children with progeria exhibit a remarkably similar appearances, despite differing ethnic backgrounds, according to the foundation. Progeria signs include growth failure, loss of body fat and hair, aged-looking skin, stiffness of joints, hip dislocation, generalized atherosclerosis, heart disease and stroke.
The disease is fatal. The oldest person living with progeria, South African Leon Botha, died at age 26 in 2011.
