Speaking with The Breakfast Club recently, Junior Reid says that he and the “Compton” rapper fallout over a tour that went bad.
“Working with Game was a good vibe going in and sharing the love,” the reggae legend said. “But at the same time the strength that we gave Game I am disappointed in him because we didn’t get any love comparing to the type of love that we showed him.”
Junior Reid says that he supported The Game throughout all the promotional events for the single and his album but when it came time for the rapper to return the favor he was a no show.
“A promoter came to Jamaica and set up a tour with myself and The Game, but after the first show the promoter said to me that Game says that he is not going to perform if I am performing,” he said.

Sean Paul says that his career was mostly influenced by the likes of Super Cat and Spragga Benz.
The dancehall icon recently sat down with Hot 97 radio hosts Ebro and Peter Rosenberg where he opened up about who influenced his career, new music coming from out of Jamaica and Vybz Kartel incarceration.
“Definitely Super Cat when I use to imitate even Shabba, people in school use to say you sound like Cat,” SP said. “So that was just a natural tone on my voice and I kind of start to develop it more.”
“People like Spragga Benz big up to him too he is in the district here New York you know he is also one of my influence, so I got a lot of influence but I know I sound like Cat,” the deejay added.
Weighing in on Vybz Kartel incarceration, Sean Paul says that he hasn’t been hearing anything about his case, but definitely hearing a lot of songs.
Mavado is shooting down rumors that he recently took a jab at Alkaline. The rumors have been spreading online since last week that a recent post on Instagram from the Gully Gad was directed towards Alkaline.
“Some boy a get bright,” Mavado wrote on his official IG. Some folks ran with the statement claiming that he was referring to the “Champion Boy” deejay.
“Why would Vado diss Alka when they have been friends for a while now,” a rep for the singjay told JBTV.
“Again this is just random people trying to start some bad vibes between two of the baddest artists in dancehall right now,” Mavado’s rep told us.
Mavado and Alkaline have proclaimed their friendship since last year and has even performed on numerous shows together overseas.

Usain Bolt is one of the richest Vybz Kartel fans and its also evident that the Jamaican sprint legend does not like dancehall deejay Alkaline.
Bolt was out partying at a popular dancehall session in Kingston last weekend when he got fed up of DJ Boom Boom playing too much Alkaline. He went over to the deejay booth and demanded that a Gaza song be played.
The world fastest man also shelled out a few thousand Jamaican dollars, which is like a couple US dollars (won’t even shake his bank account), to have the DJ play a Vybz Kartel song.
The sound system selector reluctantly complied and the crowd seems like they were loving it.
“A money we say, you get program because you have friends don’t,” Bolt told the disc jockey.

A Michigan man was sentenced Monday to 19 years and five months in prison for leaving his drunken girlfriend on an unheated enclosed porch overnight in freezing temperatures, PEOPLE confirms.
Charles Campbell Jr., 49, previously pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter as part of a plea deal with prosecutors.
His girlfriend, 32-year-old Tamika Hurd, died on Feb. 22, 2014, after she came home drunk following a night out with her brother. A police investigation revealed that she showered, then went outside in temperatures between 24 and 27 degrees wearing only jeans and a short-sleeved T-shirt, Berrien Assistant Prosecutor Cortney O'Malley said in court. She froze to death after she couldn't figure out how to get back in.
Campbell's attorney, Jim Jesse, said that his client had helped his drunken girlfriend from the yard onto the home's unheated enclosed porch before leaving her and noted that Hurd was responsible for her own intoxication.
"In hindsight, he would have gone out and gotten her. Every day he cries in jail," Jesse said, according to The Herald-Palladium.
But O'Malley said that Campbell had yet to apologize for his actions. "I'm speaking on behalf of Tamika's mother, [Evelyn Barnes]," O'Malley told Judge Pasula. "She's had no apology from him. We've heard no regrets or remorse."
In a video, recorded by Campbell himself, he can allegedly be heard "berating [Hurd] and belittling her" for getting drunk, O'Malley said. Campbell argued that he was helping her. "I'm sorry it happened, but I tried to help her," Campbell told the court. "It hurts me."
Judge Angela Pasula disagreed. "You did not try to help her, on this occasion," she told Campbell ahead of his sentencing, according to the The Herald-Palladium.
She added: "There's a fine line between tough love and compassion. The victim was highly intoxicated and your failure to assist her may have risen to cruelty."
Pasula sentenced him to nearly 20 years in prison.
Barnes told WWMT that's she trying to forgive Campbell for his actions, but she's having trouble.
"I'm still angry that he can do something like that, and I mean how can you take someone's life and not even care," Barnes said.
The prison industrial complex is eating so good off of case like this....Non-violent offender...Plea deal for 20 years...What would he have got if they went to trial? Death

As Americans, we've absorbed so much evil shit done by crazed lunatics who hide behind the veil of religion to justify their hateful acts. It is very easy project a view of a larger ideological population associated with these tragedies because stereotyping is not only faster, but identifying a villain is a tool we use to help heal from the unspeakable.
I myself have struggled with toeing this line and a part of me agrees with Bill Maher who once said, if there are this many bad apples, somethings wrong with the orchard. But this is a sloppy generalization and a constructed reality used to determine the other.
Chris Herbert, a British soldier who had his leg blown off in Basra, Iraq, has an opinion on the Muslims who blew his leg off in stark contrast to his opinion of the Muslims who helped him survive. He took to Facebook to eloquently post about his encounter with all human beings during and since he was wounded. His story, whether you agree with it or not, is his reality.

Musical has traditionally featured African-American actors, including Diana Ross and Michael Jackson in 1978 film version
Some people on Twitter apparently dont know their musical history.
Users took to the social media platform in the days leading up to NBCs broadcast The Wiz Live! to decry what they saw as racist casting. The Thursday-night live production featured an all-black cast led by Queen Latifah, David Alan Grier and newcomer Shanice Williams.
That is in keeping with the history of the stage musical, which has always featured a black cast, as well as the 1978 film starring Diana Ross and Michael Jackson.
However, many users took to Twitter to voice their aggravation with the casting nonetheless.
One user, after tweeting, This is how I feel. Remaking something with an all-black cast seemsa tiny bit racist. #TheWiz, deleted her tweet, then went on to explain the thinking behind that deleted tweet.
The response on Twitter during Thursday nights broadcast during which #TheWiz was the services top trending topic nationally to the earlier racist tweets was overwhelming and appropriate.
Craig Zadan and Neil Meron executive produced NBCs The Wiz Live! with Kenny Leon serving as stage director and Matthew Diamond as TV director.

When you think of marketplaces on the so-called "Dark Web," that place on the internet that you can only access with special browsers that anonymize your IP address, you probably think of sites that sell drugs, weapons, and other illicit products and services.
But it's also full of cheap subscriptions to some of the most popular legitimate streaming video and music services, like Netflix, Spotify, and HBO.
"We found pretty much everything possible available for sale," Raj Samani, the vice president and CTO at Intel Security, who last month wrote a report on the Dark Web, told Tech Insider in an interview. "Every possible service and every possible flavor you could think of was being made for sale."
Indeed, a recent visit to one of these marketplace on the Dark Web by Tech Insider found that he could easily buy lifetime subscriptions to Spotify and Netflix for a fraction of the price of a monthly subscription.
What's remarkable about this is that buying legitimate subscriptions to these services is both easy and relatively inexpensive, yet a marketplace still exists for these.
A lifetime subscription to Spotify is only $1.95.
Samani said that these accounts are likely based on both stolen credit card data as well as stolen account information.
Here's a lifetime subscription to Netflix for just $0.50:
It's highly competitive for these sellers, and many are somehow able to guarantee that you'll have lifetime access to these services, even if there are issues with that original account you buy. That is, the sellers say they'll give you working account information if the account credentials you buy are shut down.
"Its remarkable," Samani said. This marketplace "actually has its own help desk."
"I dont want to call it a risk-free transaction but they try to make it as risk free as they possibly can," he said.
As Samani outlined in his report last month, having one of your own accounts end up on a Dark Web marketplace could be a huge headache. The account could be closed because of malicious activity, and you may have to endure hours on the phone with technical support.
That's why it's important to keep your own data safe. Use unique, strong passwords for all of your services, and use two-factor authentication whenever possible. Two-factor authentications requires people to have a second form of credentials, like a code from a text message, when they login to an account.

Nicki Minaj is being sued by her ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels and he is gunning for a big chunk of her fortune.
TMZ first reported the story on Monday claiming that Safaree has lawyered up to fight Nicki Minaj in court for his share of the pie.
He is claiming that he was heavily involved in the production of three of her albums, Pink Friday, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, and The Pink Print.
Safaree also claims that he contributed to several of Nicki Minaj’s biggest hit singles including “Flawless (Remix),” “Feeling Myself,” and “Only.” He is gearing up to provide the courts with a boatload of evidence to support his claims including eyewitnesses who were in the studio with them, voice notes, and video from some of their studio sessions.

Buju Banton could be released from prison as early as in a few days, weeks or even months.
The Grammy-winning reggae singer is currently serving a 10-year sentence for drug traffic in a Georgia prison. His release date is set for February 2019, but due to overcrowding in prisons across the United States, he could walk free after only serving half of his sentence.
Multiple reports confirmed that the U.S. Sentencing Commission reform effort is trying to ease over crowding and violence in prisons. As part of the reform process 6,000 non violent inmates will be released this month and thousands more will be released over a period of a few years.
If Buju Banton name make the list among the 6,000 he could be released sometime in November.
The reggae singer, whose real name is Mark Myrie, was convicted in 2011 on three counts of drug trafficking charges. He was given the minimum 10 years sentencing.
Buju Banton and his legal teams launched several failed appeals, but he has maintained his innocence.
Last month a juror in his trial was found in contempt of court.

According to Zawya, there are approximately 21.6 million passenger vehicles operating in Africa; making the continent’s nearly 1.2 billion population a very attractive prospect for global automobile manufacturers to penetrate. Not to be left out of the lucrative market, African entrepreneurs are now entering the automobile industry; designing and developing vehicles specifically geared for the local market and local consumers but with global aspirations.
Below are three African automobile manufacturing companies that are developing “made in Africa” vehicles that look the most promising for the African consumer market;
Kiira Motors Corporation, Uganda

The five-seater sedan is powered by a rechargeable battery and also has an internal combustion engine-based generator which charges the battery. The first commercial vehicle from this line is expected to rollout in 2018
Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company, Nigeria
